Chunky Brownie Batter Hummus with Fresh Strawberries

Chunky Brownie Batter Hummus with Fresh Strawberries

This one barely counts as a recipe. Open the jar. Slice the strawberries. That's most of it. I'm including it because it's genuinely good and people are always surprised that it is.

Chunky Brownie Batter Hummus with Fresh Strawberries

Five minutes. No cooking. Works as dessert or an afternoon snack.

  • One jar of Chunky Brownie Batter hummus
  • A pound of fresh strawberries, rinsed and sliced
  • Optional: graham crackers, banana slices, pretzels for extra dippers

How to build it: Put the hummus in a bowl or leave it in the jar — either works. Slice the strawberries and arrange them around it. If you've got kids or company, add graham crackers or pretzels to the board. Set it out. That's it.

Why it works: Chunky Brownie Batter is rich — cocoa, real chocolate, tahini — but not sweet the way a candy bar is. It has depth. The strawberries bring acid and brightness that cuts right through it. The brownie batter chunks give you texture. It lands somewhere between a snack and dessert without committing to either.

One note: Chunky Brownie Batter isn't in stores. You can get it at the markets on Saturdays and Sundays, or through Good Club — shipped to your door every month, your flavor choice.

Make this and tag us on Instagram — @eatgoodhummus. I'd love to see it.
